Luceva

House rules

Luceva is a place for adults looking for people. These rules exist to keep it that way. They are few, they are public, and they apply to everyone — us included.

1Who can be here

Luceva is for adults. At registration we ask for your date of birth and verify it; providing false information results in account closure.

Everyone starts as a viewer. To message someone first, identity verification is required — a selfie or an identity document, handled by a certified external provider. We never see and never store your documents: we only receive the outcome. Unverified people can browse, receive messages and reply, with a badge that states this clearly.

2Consent is rule number one

It applies in here as it does outside. In practice:

  • No one receives explicit content without having asked for it. Explicit photos stay covered until the viewer actively chooses to see them. Sending unsolicited explicit content in chat is grounds for immediate suspension.
  • No is a complete answer. Persisting after a refusal — or contacting someone who blocked you from another profile — closes the account.
  • What a person states on their profile is not an invitation. Their interests say what they like, not that they like it with you.

3Images belong to the people in them

You may upload only images that portray you, and only if you have decided to share them. Every time you upload a photo to your profile or send one in chat, we ask you to confirm it: we keep that confirmation, with its date and text, even if you later delete the photo.

  • Never photos or videos of other people without their explicit consent. Not of former partners, not even if you took them yourself, not even if they have already circulated elsewhere. Distributing intimate images without consent is a criminal offence (art. 612-ter of the Italian Criminal Code), and here it results in immediate account closure and a report to the authorities.
  • If other people appear in the photo (a couple, a group), the consent of all of them is required.
  • What you see on Luceva stays on Luceva. Saving, sharing or republishing photos, profiles or conversations elsewhere is a serious breach of these rules, and for intimate images it is also a criminal offence.
  • If you find an image of yourself here and you did not consent, write to us at ciao@luceva.it: we remove it ahead of everything else.

4Identity and respect

  • The profile is yours: no photos of other people, no invented identities used to deceive.
  • Discrimination, insults and unsolicited humiliation close the account. Consensual kink is welcome; cruelty passed off as bluntness is not.

5People, not customers

On Luceva no one sells themselves: no escorting, no price lists, no paid content, no promotion of external platforms. Personal profiles used for commercial purposes are closed without notice.

The only entities allowed to have commercial purposes are organisations from the scene — schools, associations, event organisers — and they follow separate rules (point 8).

6Zero spam, by design

The number of conversations you can start is limited — for everyone, including paying members. This is not a flaw: it is the reason your inbox stays liveable. Whoever writes to you first enters a queue that you manage, when you want: you decide how many requests to see at a time in your settings. Anyone attempting to circumvent the limits (multiple accounts, copy-paste messages, automation) is closed.

7Reports: how they actually work

Every report receives a case number and an answer. Not a black hole.

  • You report from the profile or the conversation, in two taps. Or write to ciao@luceva.it.
  • We confirm we have taken it on and we tell you the outcome — what we decided, not just “thank you”.
  • We commit to responding within 48 hours, and within 24 for unsolicited explicit content, threats and images published without consent. If we cannot manage it, we tell you instead of leaving you in silence.
  • Reports made in bad faith (using the report function to harass someone) are themselves a violation.

Who moderates today: the founder, with the help of people from the community as we grow. The names of those who moderate are not public; the rules they moderate by are — they are these.

8Organisations

Schools, associations and event organisers from the scene may have a profile — separate from a personal one, recognisable at a glance, and active only after our approval.

How to apply: write to ciao@luceva.it with the name of the organisation, what it does and for how long, and a verifiable reference (website, channel, venue).

What they may do: introduce themselves, publish events and courses, reply to those who contact them.

What they may not do: message users first, offer paid sexual services in any form, promote competing dating platforms.

If an organisation contacts you privately without you having sought it out, report it: it is breaking the rules.

9Consequences

Not all violations weigh the same, and we say so upfront:

  • Immediate closure, without notice: minors, content involving minors (reported to the authorities), intimate images of other people without consent, paid sexual services, threats.
  • Suspension, then closure if repeated: unsolicited explicit content, persisting after a refusal, spam, false identities.
  • Warning, then suspension: minor breaches of the profile and conduct rules.

If you think we got it wrong, write to us at ciao@luceva.it: we answer, and we review decisions that were wrong. The right ones we do not.

The same goes for yours: if you block someone and change your mind, you can unblock from your settings. The earlier conversation does not come back, though — if you want to talk again, it starts over with a new request, like everyone else.

10Your data

The short version: we collect the minimum, your interests are seen only by you and by whoever you choose, we never touch your verification documents, and we sell nothing to anyone — this is why Luceva has a subscription instead of being “free”.

You can change every visibility setting, withdraw consent on your interests and delete your account at any time, from your settings, without writing to us. When you delete, your profile disappears and the messages you wrote stay anonymous for those who received them.

The full privacy notice, covering profiles, photos and identity verification, will be published when registrations open. The one currently online concerns the waitlist.

These rules may change as Luceva grows. When that happens, we say so in advance and explain why. Last updated: September 2026.
