Privacy — Waitlist

Last updated: 20 September 2026 — version 1.0

The short version

If you join the waitlist, we keep your email and the few things you tell us in the form — to let you know when we open and to understand in which cities, and with what balance, to open. Nothing else. We sell nothing to anyone, we don't profile you, we use no tracking cookies. You can remove yourself whenever you like by writing to ciao@luceva.it, and your data disappears.

Below is the full version: that is the one that counts.

1Who processes your data (controller)

Matteo Amaducci, a natural person, based in Milan. Contact for anything concerning your data: ciao@luceva.it.

When the company is incorporated, the controller will become Luceva S.r.l.s., with registered office and VAT number to be added. This notice will be updated and we will let you know.

2What data we collect

Only what you enter yourself in the waitlist form:

We also record: the date and time of your sign-up, the language of the site you were using, the exact text of the consent you accepted and its version, and — if you arrive from a link with tracking parameters (UTM) — the source of that link. We do not collect your IP address in the waitlist database.

We do not collect first name, surname, date of birth, photos, sexual orientation or interests, nor any special-category data under Article 9 GDPR. The “what you're looking for” field contains no options that would reveal your sex life.

3Why we process it and on what basis

purpose
Notifying you when Luceva opens in your city, and sending you the welcome email
legal basis
your consent (art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), given by signing up
purpose
Understanding in which cities and with what balance to open
legal basis
your consent (same basis)
purpose
Keeping proof of the consent you gave
legal basis
legal obligation of accountability (art. 5(2) and art. 7(1) GDPR)

There is no automated decision-making and no profiling: we look at the numbers in aggregate (how many people per city, what balance), not at people one by one.

4Who sees it (recipients and providers)

Your data is not sold, transferred or shared with third parties for their own purposes. It is processed, on our behalf and under contract, by these providers:

provider
Supabase Inc.
what it does
hosts the database
where the data is
European Union (Frankfurt)
provider
Vercel Inc.
what it does
hosts the website and provides visit statistics without cookies and without identifying you
where the data is
United States for the application infrastructure; waitlist data does not pass through Vercel
provider
Resend Inc.
what it does
sends the welcome email
where the data is
European Union (EU region selected)

Supabase and Vercel are US companies: transfers are covered by the European Commission's standard contractual clauses (art. 46 GDPR) and, where applicable, by the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. Vercel's visit statistics use no cookies and do not identify people.

5For how long

We keep your data until Luceva opens in your city and for the 12 months after that, to give you time to come in. Then we delete it. If you remove yourself earlier, we delete it right away, except for the proof of consent, which we keep for 24 months after deletion for accountability purposes.

If Luceva were not to open, we delete everything within 24 months of your sign-up.

6Your rights

At any time and free of charge, you can:

  • access the data we hold about you;
  • correct it;
  • delete it (we take you off the list);
  • restrict processing;
  • receive it in a readable format (portability);
  • withdraw consent: withdrawal applies to the future and does not affect the lawfulness of what was done before;
  • lodge a complaint with the Italian data protection authority, the Garante (www.garanteprivacy.it).

To exercise them, an email to ciao@luceva.it is enough. We reply within 30 days; if we need more time, we tell you.

8Changes

If we change this notice in a way that affects you — for example when the controller becomes the company — we write to you first. The version in force is always at luceva.it/privacy, with its date.
